WHAT IS HIVAMAT® DEEP OSCILLATION?
‘Hivamat® Deep Oscillation is a unique, patented, proven, non-invasive therapy method that creates biological oscillations using electrostatic attraction and friction. This generates a gentle kneading effect deep within the damaged tissue to relieve pain, relax muscles, activate connective tissue, improve lymphatic circulation, reduce secondary lymphedema, and promote mobility for all types of muscular micro traumas. In contrast to externally applied, mechanical forms of therapy (e.g. vibration on the surface of the skin), the therapeutic effect of deep oscillation permeates a depth of 8 cm through skin, connective tissue, subcutaneous fat tissue, muscles, blood and lymphatic vessels, with a range of clinically proven effects.’
This therapy approach combines principles of lymphatic massage with advanced electrostatic technology. It generates pulsations ranging from 5-200 HZ, which can penetrate up to 8-12cm into the tissue. This depth allows it to break up fibrotic tissue, boosts blood flow, removes toxins and improves nutrient delivery to the cells, thus supporting the natural healing process.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE
Clients often describe the experience as relaxing and soothing, feeling quick but gentle vibrating sensation as the tissues are lifted and released in rapid pulsating movements. The device makes a buzzing or purring sound on your skin depending on the setting. Unlike traditional massage, which compresses the tissue and lymphatic drainage that is only very superficial, deep oscillation lifts the superficial tissues, increasing the interstitial fascial space and enhancing circulation and lymphatic flow.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
During the treatment you will be holding a small conductive element on a lead connected to the machine. Your therapist, with an electrode attached to their body, creates a circuit between you and themselves. Using hygienic, conducting vinyl-gloved hands, the therapist can perform the massage while delivery oscillation treatment. All you need to do is relax.
